China's solar power generation grew by 31% in the first quarter

National Bureau of statistics 17 news release shows that in 2017 the country's 3 generating capacity of 516 billion 900 million kwh, an increase of 7.2%.
Among them, the national thermal power generating capacity of 396 billion 100 million kwh, an increase of 7.7%; hydroelectric generating capacity of 72 billion 500 million kwh, down 1.3%; nuclear power generating capacity of 21 billion 400 million kwh, an increase of 23%; wind power generation capacity of 22 billion kwh, an increase of 12.1%; solar power generation capacity of 4 billion 800 million kwh, an increase of 28.7%.
2017 1-3 month national generating capacity of 14587 kwh, an increase of 6.7%.
Among them, the national power generation capacity of 11357 kwh, an increase of 7.4%; hydroelectric generating capacity of 193 billion 800 million kwh, down 4.1%; nuclear power generating capacity of 54 billion 700 million kwh, an increase of 16.3%; wind power generation capacity of 62 billion 100 million kwh, an increase of 21.8%; solar power generation capacity of 12 billion 300 million kwh, an increase of 31%.
March average daily production capacity of 16 billion 670 million kwh, an increase of 7.2%.
The data show that in 2017 1-3 months the proportion of thermal power accounted for 77.86% of the country's electricity generation, hydropower accounted for the proportion of the national generating capacity of 13.29%.
At the same time, according to the above data, affected by seasonal factorsandless rainfall this year, hydropower generating capacity fell, other energy generating capacity year-on-year growth, nuclear energy, wind energy, solar energyandother renewable energy generating capacity increased significantly; power also showed a rising trend, but a quarter of thermal power accounted for the first two months of decline.
